We send our love to you this Christmas

The Yeager/Bingham/Parry/Funderburk families are really amazing. We just wanted to send a Ho Ho Ho shout out to all of you. Holly is that "one-of-a-kind" friend and through that friendship we really feel like we have an extended family. You all have enriched our lives in many ways over the last 10 years. Thank you and Happy New Year. Looking forward to a great 2008!!!

Gentry's 11th Birthday

Cute baby Gentry
Beautiful 11 year old Gentry
Happy 11th birthday Gentry. We are so proud of Gentry. She has really grown in so many ways this last year. She is a loving, tender and attentive big sister to Tryce. She has courageously began a new sport, swimming, and gave up the comforts of gymnastics. She has really learned how to excel in school. I can honestly say I do not know another 11 year old that is as organized and ready to be a teacher than Gentry. We love her so much but just wish we could keep her from growing up so fast.

We Survived State Swim Meet!!!

Gentry new to the sport, took time off of 5 out of 7 races
Aubrey was a medalist in every race and improved all times except one...Amazing
Tryce loved crawling around and on everything but his favorite was going in and out of his suitcase
Our friends, Catrina, Sam and Venessa. I couldn't of made it through without Catrina's help. Thank You!!!
The team doing a cheer before the finals on the last day. They are four time State Champs!!!

TAGGED

I am a sucker for: Nachos and guacamole, brownies, new music, clever gadgets, a great sale and spending time in Santa Barbara.

My worldly desires: To own my current home outright and a few others, a boat with 2 bedrooms, a slug-bug, and a plane to fly in my friends and family on a whim.

My prize possessions: Greg, Aubrey, Gentry and Tryce, my bible, my diploma, some photos, my "faith of a mustard seed" necklace from my grandma Taylor and my wedding ring.

I will never wear____again: This is a hard one. Pleated front pants, stretch pants and stirrup pants, maternity clothes and shoulder pads.

Things I love: Santa Barbara, ocean breezes, victories for Greg's team, winning basketball tournament championships, home-cooked meals made by someone else, my house cleaned by someone else, chartered or private flights, organization, gift giving, laughing into tears, lobster, puppies, kittens, babies, spending time with family and friends, reading without interruptions, DVR's, internet, IKEA, Sundance, lattes, wine, Dream Dinners, Christmas music, and knowing my kids are healthy, confident and safe.

Things I hate: Feeling overwhelmed, being ignored, having to carry so much stuff in a diaper bag, being cold, when people don't do what they say they're going to do, messes, traffic, not being able to fix something or not being able to afford someone who can, paying bills, dust, snotty noses, gray hair and spider veins, not getting to spend regular time with family, my kids not being able to have their grandparents or any family around to share in all the wonderful things they do.

Randomness: There is nothing better than to know you've made difference in another life for the better! I really appreciate being appreciated. Currently, I feel joy everyday looking into the faces of my kids yet at the same time, I am longing for a little more adult time. On a lighter note, I can't wait to try some chocolate covered cinnamon bears!

Another Birthday

Yes, I had another birthday. Greg, Gentry and Tryce all spent the day with me recovering from being sick. Greg did manage to get me this beautiful bouquet of flowers. They smell heavenly! I just love fresh flowers. Thank you so much, Greg and to everyone else for the cards, gifts and phone calls. Hugs to all!

Halloween 2007

Asian Gentry with Tryce the Cow
The cow face on belly is pretty funny
Milk and cows...go together
On their way out
Tryce returning from trick or treating
The originally made Halloween plans changed quickly due to everyone in the family being ill except Aubrey. Gentry was recovering as was I. Greg and Tryce were beginning their illness and Aubrey stayed healthy. The girls had planned with a few other friends to go out together and dress up and "Water Women". They had made some pretty silly costumes. Half of the group became sick so soon I will get them all together and have them dress up and take some pics to share. It's always good to remain flexible. The girls still had fun. They wore their costumes from last year. By the way everyone is now healthy and on to the Thanksgiving season which is my favorite.

New faces by Tryce

Tryce has started making random sour faces. There is no emotion to these faces, they are just something he likes to do. He had us and the Yeagers laughing into tears at the buffet. Pretty silly little guy.

Summer Sailing in San Diego Bay

Sailing on a chartered 40 foot yacht with Justin and Christy was the highlight of my summer. Tryce was a little fussy and Gentry couldn't stop going to the galley to get treats, but all in all it was great. We saw dolphins and seals. The girls liked sitting on bean bags up front. Greg helped with Tryce and sat down below for awhile. It was beautiful. Thank you Justin and Christy for the recommendation and arranging.
